Quint McGrath: McGrath is turning into a nice prospect. He continued to assert himself as a next-level name to know on Sunday. McGrath has good perimeter size at 6-foot-5 and uses it to his advantage as a scorer. Most noteworthy, McGrath can really shoot it. He was in the conversation as one of the best shooters of the weekend.
Cameron Cannon: Cannon has been praised for his ability to score. He did that on Sunday. Especially after getting into a rhythm. Cannon hit shots off pull-ups and step backs. What was more impressive was his defensive timing. He racked up several steals with good hands, savvy play on that end. He looks like he’s in line for a highly productive winter with Lovett.
Daniel Gadsden: Gadsden had an imposing day on both ends of the floor. 6-foot-5 wing with good length, athleticism, he impacted games across the board. Rebounding, versatile defense, hustle plays, opportunistic scoring, he’s a swiss-army-knife player who can do a lot on the floor. There’s certainly a lot of potential with Gadsden.
Trey Smith: It was toughness that separated Smith as a stand out. Yeah, he showed that he can score from multiple spots on the floor which is obviously great, but he has a scrappyness about him that led to good production. He took to contact well on both ends, which resulted in creating turnovers, grabbing rebounds, making plays on offense.
Greg Dauer (2028): An early standout, Dauer’s athleticism was an attention-grabber during drills. Throughout the afternoon, he continued to show that athleticism but the more skilled aspects of his game were able to shine through as well. He has a well-rounded game for a younger prospect. Being a sophomore, he has more runway for development than most from the weekend. It’ll be fun to check back in on him throughout the next couple of years.
